For more professional photos from the Ice Castle click on this link. My phone doesn't take good photos in poor lighting.
Here are my photos! I also put links for videos from the fire performance at the end of this post.
Just as it appears, he is jumping rope with a fire rope! I tried to get video of this, but my phone died...
There is a long, fast ice slide at the castle! This photo was taken while waiting in line for it. The Ice Castle is a well-attended event, so be prepared to wait in line for some things.
A video would have been better, but here are a couple of photos of the water and ice fountain. It looked most impressive when there were several shoots coming out of the water, but it was very hard to get a picture right at that moment.
This photo I only enjoy for the abstract artistic appeal:
Here are my videos of the fire performance (there are 4 videos in the playlist): Fire Performance
If you ever get the chance to go to an ice castle, I highly recommend it! It was lots of fun, family appropriate, and very affordable. My advice is to buy tickets ahead of time becuase it gets sold out, and wear warm boots and clothes!
Also, there is no seating or stage for the fire performance, so it's very hard to see unless you arrive before the performance for a good spot in the front. Thankfully they do several performances in one night, so you can just wait till the end of the current performance, then once everyone leaves, get right to the front so you're ready for the next one.
